The unparalleled scenic diversity means that one day you can be teeing off atop breathtaking coastal cliffs, while the next morning will find you putting on a perfect green with an incredible mountain backdrop framing the scene. To the famous names of Skibo, Royal Dornoch and Nairn, you can add the Spey Valley course at Aviemore, designed by veteran course architect Dave Thomas. In addition, Castle Stuart Golf Club, en route for Nairn and just five minutes from Inverness which opened in 2008 is well worth a visit. In 2009 Castle Stuart was awarded “best new course in the world 2009” by Golf Magazine. Ness Castle Lodges also co-own the Royal Marine Hotel in Brora, Sutherland, which is situated adjacent to the magnificent golf course designed by the incomparable James Braid.
